What is mindfulness?

Mindfulness is the ability for us to be fully present, in whatever we are doing, wherever we are, in that moment.
Children experience stress just as adults do and it is only when we become an adult we then have to find ways of coping with our levels of stress and anxiety.
With the continued awareness and promotion of well being and mental health being an important part of today’s society, it is extremely important for children to know how to deal with stressful situations, without feeling isolated and vulnerable.
It can complement well alongside a healthy lifestyle, helping children to live a happier and more peaceful life.
