Sonal is the founder of The Study Pod.
She strives to ensure quality first education to all her pupils, helping them to build a solid foundation and become life long learners!
Children are now living in a digital world, where they are accustomed to the use of modern technology on a daily basis. Schools are moving to practical, enriched learning experiences where children are taught to develop a deep body of knowledge as opposed to just focus on test specifications and qualifications.
Progress is no longer just about assessment; learning a range of skills and developing a comprehensive understanding are far more effective in building strong foundations for all our children.
At The Study Pod we thrive on creating a practical and active learning based experience. Children will gain the confidence to understand and apply their knowledge to both the Maths and English curriculum and a chance to review areas they are struggling with.
The activities are pitched at your child’s current level of ability, with extensions to further their learning. Rest assured, with the skills they acquire, children will be prepared for KS1 and KS2 assessment and national testing.
Why is it important to look after your child’s wellbeing?
All children deserve to be happy, healthy and flourish in their lives. When a child has a happy mind they also have a happy heart and this is the foundation for building healthy relationships, coping with stressful situations and being individualistic.
We not only care for your child’s academic ability, but also their mental and emotional wellbeing. We teach children a range of meditative mindfulness techniques and will be also teaching children’s yoga in the near future.

How do you know if your child needs tuition?
Here are a few things to think about if you’re unsure about whether your child may need some extra learning support:
Does your child struggle in Maths or English and find application challenging?
Is your child lacking in confidence or self-esteem?
Are they falling behind age related expectations?
Are they struggling with their school homework?
Are you as parents or carers unsure as to how to assist them with this or simply find it difficult to manage time around busy schedules?
Does your child get easily distracted and need re-focussing to keep them on task?

Whilst schools work extremely hard to educate their pupils, it is not always possible to work individually with every child to focus on areas of weakness, clarify misconceptions or challenge students further.
The Study Pod approach focuses on doing exactly this.
Remote learning
We are offering online tutoring in small groups of up to 5 children. Each lesson is highly interactive and delivered live, so children can ask questions as well as learning in a virtual classroom setting with their teacher.
